Aims & Objectives
This five-day course covers exactly the same material as the three-day DSEAR Risk Assessment course, and in addition covers gas installations in detail. It is intended for organisations whose activities extend beyond standard commercial cylinders into larger gas installations and cryogenic storage, and who need to understand the associated COMAH requirements.
Suitability
Operatives, laboratory workers, managers and safety managers responsible for DSEAR areas that include gas installations, bulk gas storage or cryogenic applications. For most companies whose needs are limited to standard commercial cylinders (argon, oxygen, acetylene, LPG, etc.), the three-day course is sufficient.Requirements
No prior DSEAR risk assessment experience is required. Working group activities form part of the course.

- All content from the three-day DSEAR Risk Assessment course, including DSEAR foundations, dust and vapour in depth, ATEX classifications, BS EN 60079-10 Ex zone determination, gas groups and temperature ratings, flammable vapour theory and LEL calculation
Gas Installations

Notes
The five-day course covers all three-day content plus gas installations, commercial gases, bulk cryogenic storage and COMAH requirements. For most companies, the three-day course content is sufficient to meet their normal commercial cylinder (argon, oxygen, acetylene, LPG, etc.) requirements. Each delegate receives a detailed training manual and a typical risk assessment template; fully comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend.
Certification
On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for three years.Prefer to call?
