To enable the delegates to be fully aware of the different types of scaffolds, their uses and construction and faults most associated with and to be able to report those faults accurately.

Introduction.Scaffold Terminology using HSE Video, Model and Scaffolding .Components.Current Legislation/Standards (Work at Height regulations 2005, British/ European Standards (BS. EN 12811).Tubes, Fittings, Boards.Ties and Braces.TG20 -13 Scaffold Types, using TG20:13 Computer Design showing Compliance Sheets. (Basic structures which include tower, independent, birdcage and loading bay and ladder bays).SG4- 15.Why Scaffolds collapse.Practical assessment.Scaffold Inspection Report and Tagging.

Notes

Fully Comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend the course

Certification

On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years
