Aims & Objectives
The IOSH suite of training programmes can be delivered via a virtual classroom, and this course offers IOSH Managing Safely as a fully remote, tutor-led programme. It broadly follows the same structure and duration as the standard classroom-based course, with set lecture periods and set question and answer sessions to support learning, allowing the tutor to cover the required material and respond to individual questions. Course assessments are completed as computer-based documentation, enabling full remote completion.
Suitability
Managers and supervisors who need the IOSH Managing Safely qualification but prefer, or require, remote delivery. Delegates need access to a computer with a good broadband connection and an email address for course materials and assessments.Requirements
Delegates need access to a computer with a good broadband connection and internet access, and an email address to receive supplementary materials and assessments. It is not normally necessary to download any software. A short introductory session is run with delegates a few days before the first formal session to ensure the technology works.
Full participation in all sessions is a requirement of IOSH, so delegates should arrange to be free from distractions during the lecture periods.
