Aims & Objectives
The IOSH Managing Safely course has been designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practice. Over three days, delegates cover everything they need to manage health and safety within their own team and workplace, from assessing risk to investigating incidents and monitoring performance.

Managers and supervisors in any sector who need a broad, practical understanding of their health and safety responsibilities.Requirements
No prior health and safety qualifications are required.

Module 3 - Risk Assessment
- Legal requirements

Module 4 - The Legal Framework
- The legal framework for workplace safety and health
- Accessing guidance
Module 5 - Common Hazards
- Chemical, manual handling, electrical, noise, fire, and slips, trips and falls
Module 6 - Active Monitoring
- Communication skills in relation to health and safety
Module 7 - Auditing
- Safety audits
- Management reviews
Module 8 - Specialised Hazards
- Optional, company-specific hazards
Notes
Comprehensive notes will be given to all students who attend the course.
Certification
